Iron Curtain Junior Filter
Like its big brother, the Hellenbrand Iron Curtain Junior uses Natural Oxygen to remove iron “rust” and other nuisance minerals without chemicals. This treatment system also removes Hydrogen Sulfide, eliminating nuisance rotten egg odors.

Dual Function System Controller
The Iron Curtain Junior uses a digital controller that can be adjusted with additional rinse cycles based on your well water quality. Unlike other filters, the IC Junior draws air into the tank during the last cycle of regeneration to maintain a fresh pocket of air that is used to oxidize iron and hydrogen sulfide.
Iron Curtain Filter Technology
Standard Iron Filters use a small 3/4″ tube to distribute water through a single filter media like Birm or Greensand.
Water ends of flowing in the path of least resistance which results in uneven Iron buildup that is much harder to clean out during regeneration.
The Iron Curtain Junior design uses a 3-layer filter bed with a specialty media that works in conjuction with the “air pocket” to continue oxidizing and trapping contaminants as they travel through the system.
The media blend is combined with a full width distributor plate to help direct water flow evenly through the tank for balanced loading, and improved filtration.
